Unmatched Wireless Standard Transactions Report

The purpose of Unmatched WS report is to provide the dealer with a list of transactions that exist in Wireless Standard but was not matched against carrier file.

The report consists of several tabs each containing transactions with a specific data entry issue. Transactions may appear on multiple tabs due to having multiple issues.

Action Item: review the report to see if there are any systemic issues with data entry. Is your Wireless Standard Point of Sale set up correctly? Are you employees following proper ringing procedures? Are these honest mistakes or attempts at fraud?

Currently, the report consists of following tabs:

Sale/Returns: unmatched transactions that contain a Sale and Return transactions for the same ESN and same customer. These transactions do not earn any commissions. We would recommend reviewing transactions for unusual activity. Example: multiple sales/returns for the same equipment.

Same ESN: unmatched transactions where ESN is the same as in one of the transactions that were already matched with carrier file. These could be a part of multiple interactions with the same customer. This also may be an attempt by a salesperson to resell same equipment several times.

Same MDN: unmatched transactions where MDN is the same as one of the transactions that were already matched with carrier file. These could be a part of multiple interactions with the same customer. This also may be an attempt by a salesperson to resell same equipment several times.

Missing SubID: transactions where BAN (or Account Number) and Subscriber ID fields are missing. There could be several reasons for this:
- The store may not be using Edge
- Sales transaction was not posted to Edge (and therefore only exists in WS - possible fraud)
- There is an issue with Wireless Standard communicating with Edge portal.

ExpComm 0: unmatched transactions where Projected commissions fields are either zero or empty. Usually, this means there are no commissions for these transactions. It is also possible that your projected commissions were not set up correctly. These transactions are unlikely to have any basis for disputes.

Custom Phones: unmatched transactions for customer's own phones. If customer's account is in good standing these may qualify for Compensation commissions. Check Account status via Edge.

Others: unmatched transactions that did not appear in any of the categories above. If customer's account is in good standing these may qualify for Compensation commissions. Check Account status via Edge.
