Software update process

B2B soft is continuously updating the software. Updates take place on a scheduled basis and usually occur every other month but sometimes more often. Updates are released to improve the performance of the software or as a fix to bugs found by our development team or reported by our customers.

Updates may or may not change the numbering of the software version and are easily accessed through the support menu.



A user can click “check for updates” and the software will ask if you would like to download the latest updates to the version of the software you are running or tell you that no updates are available.
 
Unlike the new version, it is possible to have different computers running the same version and have different updates or builds. This is not recommended and may impact performance if the new build has updates to multi store features such as transfers.
 
The best practice is to have all computers running the same build.
