Setting Up Product Departments/Categories

1.    From the File menu select Manage;

2.    Click on Products and Services;

3.    Select Product Category Manager, which will open the following window:




Product Departments section allows structuring the inventory in a manner where you can run reports sorted by Departments and Categories

1. Add button allows you to add a new department

2. View/Edit - displays selected department for viewing/editing

3. Delete button removes selected department
 
Product Categories under Department field allows you to structure inventory under Department’s level

1. Add button allows you to add a category to department

2. View/Edit button displays selected category for viewing/editing

3. Delete button removes selected category from department
